THE THEME GREEN environment and SUSTAINABILITY is one of the inspiring principles of our company policy.
With regard to energy choices, we considered it appropriate to replace the internal and external lighting with LED lights that produce a warm and welcoming light with a 90% energy saving compared to traditional incandescent lamps. In addition, their lifespan is estimated to be 22 years, as much as 25 incandescent lamps. Therefore, a significantly lower number of lamps to be replaced with a substantial reduction in waste and impact on the environment.
As for our production process, attention to the environment starts from the design of our products, in terms of durability and recovery of the materials upon their disposal. Our products are made with increasingly digitized machinery with control at every stage to minimize waste and consumption. Waste is separated in accordance with the provisions of the law, encouraging as much as possible its recovery by specialized subjects.
The separation of waste is carried out with precision also thanks to the Door-to-Door Management service of our Municipality which allows us to carry out the 100% sorting and collection of paper, plastic, glass and non-differentiable ones.
The plastic caps (PE) used for the closure tests are separated and donated to the Misericordia of Tavarnelle to raise funds for the purchase of medical aids (such as wheelchairs and crutches) to be allocated to those who needs and in the health and social services of the Association.
From ferrous and non-ferrous waste we obtain money that we allocate to associations involved in the social sector of our territory, first of all the Association "We Meet", to subsidize their workshops, projects (eg gift packages, greeting cards, handicrafts, biscuits, etc.) and opportunities to meet in favor of the world of disability. Their symbol, THE SUN, contains the sense of Association, a radiant sun, the smile of a united group that welcomes life.
Part of the proceeds from our waste is also intended for organizing lunches with our employees and their families. They are called "chip lunches": at least twice a year, at Christmas to exchange greetings and before the summer holidays, we all get together. We like to thank those who have supported our company to achieve our goals.
Growth is never generated by the individual but is always the product of everyone's commitment to the same direction.
